Changing your email

To change your email address, open User Settings and use the Change Email section. Enter the new address and confirm with your current password. We'll send a verification link to the new address - open it to confirm the change, just as you did when you first signed up.

As a safeguard, we also send a note to your old address letting it know the email was changed, with a link to reverse it. That link needs no password - opening it reverts the address and signs every device out of the account, so if a change ever happens that wasn't you, it undoes the change and shuts out whoever made it in one step. Until the new address is verified, it's worth confirming promptly, since things like password resets rely on a verified address.
