Replies and threads

Every post has a reply action. Replying opens a composer right there, and your reply is attached beneath the original post as part of its thread. Replies work just like posts - you can format them, add emoji, and attach media.

Open any post on its own page to read the whole conversation, with the original at the top and replies below it. This is the best way to follow a longer back-and-forth.

Replies in a feed

Replies show up in your Friends Feed and on profiles alongside everything else, so you see a conversation as it happens rather than only when you open the post it hangs from. A reply carries a line above it saying In response to whatever it answers, and where the thread runs deeper than a single exchange, a Jump to Start link beside it takes you to the post that began the whole thing.
