Scaramucci

Scaramucci refers to Anthony Scaramucci, an American financier and former White House Communications Director who held the position for about ten days in July 2017. Because his tenure was exceptionally brief, the term “a Scaramucci” has been adopted informally as a humorous unit of time, roughly equivalent to ten to eleven days, with fractions of it used to describe other short‑lived appointments.
